The name of the Daft Punk font that most resembles the logo lettering used on this band’s album cover, is a typeface by the name of Daft. It was expertly designed and crafted by the renowned font author MatreroG, who works out of Lanus, Buenos Aires (Argentina).

Thanks to Daft Punk’s success they have their own internationally recognized Daft Punk font. This style is messy, uneven, and exactly what you would think when describing the work punk! Cleverly named Daft Font, it’s a spin on the Gill Sans typeface. Although the group finished in 2021, their legacy will always live on through their music. Even today, songs they created back in the 90s are regularly played on radio stations across the world. There are a lot of artists out there today who are only known because Daft Punk paved a way for that style of electronic music.

Founded by the now iconic duo Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, Daft Punk helped to pave the way for electronic dance music. With so many major hits such as Around the World, Harder Better Faster Stronger, and Get Lucky. Daft Punk became worldwide stars. They won multiple Grammy Awards, best musician awards, best DJ awards, and many many more. What made the duo even more memorable was their style. They always wore futuristic, robot-style helmets. This helped to create a sense of mystery around them, which helped pull in more fans.
