Dragon Ball Z is the sequel to the very famous Dragon Ball Japanese anime and it continues the adventures of the Super Saiyan Goku and his friends to defend the Earth against villains such as Vegeta, Frieza, Cell, and Majin Buu. Dragon Ball Z also follows the life of Gokuís son (Gohan) and the character development of his rival (Vegeta). The anime was aired in Japan from April 1989 to January 1996 before it was subtitled and broadcast in more than 81 countries worldwide.
