About Bratz

A series of fashion dolls designed by American toy company MGA Entertainment, the original four Bratz dolls Jade, Sasha, Yasmin and Cloe were released in 2001. In four short years, the product line grew to be worth over $1.5 billion in sales in 2005, and by 2006 the dolls were responsible for one-third of the entire fashion doll market. The franchise has spawned numerous spin-off media, such as animated films, TV series and a live-action movie. From only four dolls, the current Bratz cast now includes over 100 different characters.
