The Pirates of the Caribbean font that most closely resembles the main logo that was used in the original Hollywood movie, is a typeface by the name of Pieces Of Eight. This gothic style font was created by Steve Ferrera and first released to the general public as a freeware font in 2007. It was updated and re-released in May of 2010 to include European characters.

Another popular option is a font that is simply known by the name of Caribbean. The strokes on this typeface are slightly thicker giving it a stronger appearance.
