The Skype font that is used in the official logo for this video conferencing website is a typeface by the name of Segoe UI. It was designed and created by the design team at Microsoft.

The new logo consists of two elements: a rounded geometric shape with the letter “S” on the left and the inscription “Skype” on the right. On August 16, 2019, Skype introduced a new modern icon. It features a simple “S” inside blue circles.
