Slayer font

image of the official Slayer font

The Slayer font that most closely resembles the album lettering for the band is a typeface by the name of Slaytanic. It was created by the font author Chris Hansen, and was first released in December of 2004.

The look and feel of this font is closely aligned with the logo text for the band, which was created by Blake Edwards.

An interesting point that I discovered whith this font is the lowercase and uppercase have a slightly different design element – the uppercase have an 3D Outline. The following is a screenshot that I took which demonstates all of the different glyphs. Both font types are included in this package – OTF and TTF.
