The name of the font that typeface that most closely looks like the lettering used in the official Super Mario video-game logo is a font by the name of Super Mario 256. It is a cartoon styled font that was created by the design team at fsuarez913. An important point to note about this font is that it does not contain any lowercase characters, but in our view that is perfectly acceptable as the original Super Mario logo uses Uppercase characters only.

About the Super Mario typeface
Super Mario is among the greatest videogame of all time. The game was created by Nintendo in 1990 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). The plot revolves around Mario’s quests in saving Princess Toadstool from Bowser – he is an evil Dinosaur that has locked the princess in a dungeon. But before Mario can save Toadstool, he has to beat Bowser’s minions and traps. He also has to pass through different levels that become more difficult as the game progresses.
