About this Toys R Us brand and logo
Toys “R” Us is an American toy shop with over 800 outlets in the United States and 800 outside of the country. The company was founded by Charles Lazarus in April 1948, with its main base of operation located in Wayne, New Jersey. He started his business selling baby furnitures and then slowly transitioned into a toy shop. The iconic backward Toys “R” Us was designed by Lazarus, which is meant to give an impression that it was written by a child.
