About the Weezer typeface

Weezer is an alternative rock band founded in Los Angeles. The band consists of Rivers Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell, Scott Shriner, and former members Jason Cropper, Matt Sharp, and Mikey Welsh. The band started out in 1992 and they are still present today. The band dominated the late 90s and early 2000s with hits like Say It Aint So, Island In The Sun, and Buddy Holly. The band has sold more than 35 million albums worldwide and their songs are still played on radio stations and in nightclubs all over the world to this day.

Weezer has its own font. The Weezer font is a very simple one, it’s Century Gothic and it is fairly plain. However, that doesn’t make it any less recognizable. Weezer has amassed a whole bunch of awards and accolades. Grammys, MTV video music awards, and a Kerrang! Hall of fame award. The band has released a total of 15 music albums over the years, and they are still working on producing new music today. This band has performed songs for many major movies over the years, including American Pie 2, Shrek Forever After, Angus, and many more, including TV shows and various advertisements as well.
