Blackpink font
Blackpink is a South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment in 2016. The group consists of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. With a music style blending K-pop, pop, and hip-hop, they’ve achieved massive hits like “DDU-DU DDU-DU” and “How You Like That”. They have achieved #1 hits in countries around the world including USA, Canada, Australia, and England.
An interesting fact that I only just discovered whilst researching for this post, is that they’re the first K-pop girl group to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. What a huge achievement for them!
The font that most closely resembles the lettering used in the official BlackPink logo is a typeface by the name of Primetime. It was designed and produced inhouse by team over at Hypefonts.
