The name of the Hellraiser font that most closely resembles the logo lettering for the movie of the same name, is a typeface by the name of Hellraiser SC. It was created by a font author known as Thomas W.Otto who works out of the Norfok Incredible Font Design font foundry. It was first released to the general public in September 2016.

About the Hellraiser typeface

Hellraiser is a 1987 British horror film directed by Clive Barker, based on his novella The Hellbound Heart. The film introduced the Cenobites, demonic creatures who collect the souls of those who open Lemarchand's Box. In late-20th century England, Frank Cotton buys the box from a dealer, hoping to experience the ultimate sensation. The story is told through flashbacks after Frank has already been torn apart by the Cenobites. The gripping plot and great acting make this one of the all-time greats in the horror genre.
